So is anyone going to buy this game?
It's out now in the U.S ^^

I personally don't think I will just because I'm not a fan of the newer animals like the lion O_O

That is true. That's one reason why I really, really like renting. Unfortunately, the downside is that, in the end, you'll probably have spent MORE money renting than if you had just bought the thing! Tongue

My mom actually got me the game for Christmas. >.>
& to be honest I'm enjoying though I normally hate when hm has a story line that isn't reviving the farm.  But finding bells is a good way to pass time.  So far I only have the red one but I have the scenes for the blue and green bells started too. ^^

I haven't really decided on a character to woo yet, though I'm really liking Ignis, the Harvest King. Cheesy  Though in order to meet him I gotta find all the bells! D:

I haven't gotten it yet, and I probably never will, but I like to choose a bachelor beforehand. I was thinking of either marrying the wizard or gill or chase or... ok, so I haven't decided!

I was actually surprised at how easy some of the bells are to get like the red and yellow bells are kind of easy. ^^

Really? The concept of the bells seemed really tricky, but I heard the layout of the town is cool!

Oh no they are actually really easy they only have some things that you have to do to get them. There are some bells that can be more annoying then others though. Tongue

1. Red Bell:

- to start the event you go to level B10F in the Garmon Mines.  & You'll learn that the bell is gone. After that just go to the Blacksmith's Ramsey's House and he'll mention that Chloe found something earlier in the mines.  From there head to the carpentors and you'll see a scene play through of Chloe playing kick the can and she kicks the belle and it get's stuck in the chimney of the blacksmith shop. This is where you will have to do things to get it out.  All you have to do is go to the mine and find1 of each ore: Iron, Silver, Copper, and Gold (Gold can be hard to find at first)
Once you have found 1 of each go back to the blacksmith's shop and hand them to  Ramsey then another scene plays out of the bell getting blasted out of the chimney.  Once you get the bell you meet Alan the red harvest sprite.  To complete finding the red bell take the bell back down to level B10f of Garmon mines and press "A" when your in front of the red bell mount.

2. Yellow Bell

- To trigger the yellow bell search just simply walk down to the seashore that's south of your farm. (the path that branches off from Flute Fields)  Once you walk down an event triggers were you find the yellow bell just lying in the sand.  You pick it up and meet Collin the Yellow Harvest Sprite.  But he's fading! After a talk with him Finn decides you should take the yellow bell to the H. Goddess.

So after that event go meet the goddess and she'll tell you that the bell needs moonlight. (there are 3 spots in the entire town where you can hold the bell to gather moonlight for Collin one is up top of all the houses in the Garmon Mines district, one is in Flute Fields, and the other is in Harmonica town by the light house.)

The next event in the yellow bell story is to head to the Garmon mines district and go up above all the houses where you will meet Calvin for the first time.  He will give yo ua stone tablet that tells you of all the locations where moonlight can be gathered.

And now you can begin to gather moonlight from 18:00-23:50 in the game at all the 3 locations listed above. The stones glow at night but they're pretty easy to find during the day too.  After you hit the last stone for moonlight Collin will appear again, though this time he has more energy and he's not see through.

However there is one problem Collin doesn't remember where the yellow bell mount is all he can remember is that there was a farm nearby.  From there you want to go meet with Ruth.  When you find Ruth in her store she seems to be overworked and asks if you can grow her 10 of any of these crops: Good lettuce, Good Tomatoes, Good Pumpkins, or Good Buckwheat. (There's a crop for every season so don't panic also she will take any combination of crops too as long as they are what she asked for. ^^ )

Once that's done give your crops to Ruth and she will give you the key to go past the gate to the right of her house.  Which is when you can finally ring the yellow bell.

The next day you want to visit Marimba farm and you will have unlocked Anissa. ^_^

3.  Blue Bell

- To get this one started go to the second floor of the windmill where you will find an empty bell mount.  From there head to Horn ranch and talk with Hanna. She says that her husband was talking about a bell earlier and went to Fugue forest and if you'll go check on him.  Upon your arrival to the forest you will find Cain standing outside by the gate.  He tells you he can't get in and Dale, the carpenter, has the key.  To get the key you have to go all the way to the Garmon mine district and talk with Dale  who asks you to look for Luke, his son, in the forest while your there.  After you have the key go back to the forest entrance and press "A" to unlock it.

From there just start working your way though the forest until you meet up with Luke.  After meeting Luke continue through the forest until you reach the Witch's hut at the very end.  Once you make it to the Hut you go in and find an oddly colored pink frog croaking at you.  The Witch doesn't seem to be anywhere so you leave to go ask the Wizard in Harmonica Town if he knows where she went.

Ask the wizard if he knows the witch and he'll tell you the pink frog was the Witch and that he can't change her back without a potion that needs: Hibiscus, Good Cornmeal, and Perfect Butter.  (Hibiscus can only be found on Toucan Island though so you will have to wait until the lighthouse is fixed)

From there go meet with Paolo in the lighthouse.  After your talk he will give you the key to the watery cave in town where you can find the blue bell mount along with the bell. Upon finding the bell you meet Ben the blue harvest sprite... but there's a problem.  He can't remember the Blue Bell's melody and asks you to talk to the goddess for help.  Go meet with the goddess and she will tell you to talk to villagers to see if any of them remember it at all.

Afterwards go back to the lighthouse and talk to Paolo to learn about the Apparatus. (You will need a duck egg, a black pearl, and any fish.) --> for the duck egg you must buy a duckling and raise it until it lays eggs (it's like 7 days or close to it : P) Then the black pearl can be found in the watery cave on floors B25, B44, or B49. <--(it sparkles and is above the dirt & not in/under a rock : P)

Once you have everything you go back to Paolo and tell him you want to set up the Apparatus. Time stops during the set up.  The duck egg goes on top of the Mayor's house. The black pearl goes in the balance device to the right of the inn. then go left of the inn and climb the stairs until you find the little water hole and drop your fish down in it.  (all these locations will have a green arrow above them.)  Then head back to Paolo and click start. Watch the scene and the melody will play at the end.  After that head back into the watery cave and walk up to the bell and Ben will then ring the Blue Bell.

After the bell rings you will meet Gill, the mayor's son.

Then the next day you Paolo will come to your door and tell you the boats are coming to Harmonica town again. You go there and meet Captain Pascal, who informs that he will be sailing back and forth everyday weather permitting. ^_^

Also head to Sonata Tailoring to meet Luna, and then head to the clinc to meet Jin. ^_^

(Those are all the bells I got so far. : P )

So you have to unlock all the bells before all the bachelors are there? Oh noes! =c That means that I'll get the easiest bachelors to 10 hearts first and then, with my luck, I'll choose Gill- or someone- and have to wait forever!

Gill moves in after the blue bell is rung.  So far those three that I've gotten have only taken me until the 21st of spring to complete so the bell quests really aren't too bad. ^_^
