Good news everyone! So far, so good on us getting back some old members to help revive our wonderful Harvest Moon Meadow. We've seen the return of a few old members, which is great. We haven't really had any new members join, other than the ones that join and never post, but I'm hoping that with time, that will change.

Welcome back!

Kirika
Whitepay
CynicallyYours
Doodlebugblues (aka: Razz|la|Frazz)
Tsuki-Sama
Rage (Join the RPG already! <.< )

For those that do return and for those that join, I'm sure many of you are wondering just where the RPG is. For now, the board itself is hidden from regular guests. Once you get accepted into the RPG, you will be allowed to view and post within the boards. This may be changed in the future, but for now I think it's best to leave it this way.

The RPG itself is up and running. We've seen a few new shops open up and new characters join our little town of Conamu. All I can say is this is the best time to join the RPG, so please hurry up and apply soon! With the increase of RPG members, I think it would be a good idea to go ahead and plan our first festival. Not sure at this time what it will be, so suggestions are welcome. Please post below if you have any suggestions or PM me if you'd rather keep it secret. The ideas will be discussed by the current Admins of HMM and a decision will follow afterwards. For those of you wondering, it is currently Fall in the RPG, so a fall related festival is needed.

The following shops have opened up in the RPG, so be sure to visit each and every one of them!

Moonlight Tavern (Local Bar) -- Run by CynicallyYours
Threads (Local Clothing Store) -- Run by Whitepay
Koshikawa Poultry (Local Chicken Farm) -- Run by Kirika
Cherry's Sweets (Local Bakery/Sweets Shop) -- Run by Tsuki-sama
O'Malley's (Local Pub) -- Run by Doodlebugblues
Conamu Church (Local Church) -- Run by NPC
Conamu Inn (Local Hotel) -- Run by NPC
La Bonne Santé Clinic (Local Medical Clinic) -- Run by NPC

Other than that, any suggestions you would like to make about the site or the RPG are welcome as always. Feel free to post under the HMM Helpline Thread (Click Me!) or PM any Admin with any questions or concerns you may have.

That is all,

Hooray hooray! It's great the site is getting back up and running! <3

I always see a ton of guests on, if only they'd join! D: Though, I know you said you were going to keep the rp hidden, that might be one of the reasons why some people might not join, because they can't see the rp and see how people are playing, what's active and so on so forth. I never had luck getting members on my old rp boards when I had the rp hidden. But that was just me! xD I'm sure whenever you decide to uninvisible the rp it'll pick up!

I do have another suggestion for the board itself, there are some really old threads in the categories, maybe if you guys archived those it would clean up the boards a wee bit more and all people could see are the current active topics. I know seeing really old topics was a turn-off for me on boards. Buuuut if you going to do that anyway, just ignore me!

(but don't ignore me tooooo long! D,:)

I'll get my bar up sometime today, I just keep getting side-tracked like a goof! Oh, and two of my friends might be joining the rp soon! One of them was an old member, she played Shay's sister. The other is totally new and she's AWESOME! She actually joined already, Hunkydory! <3

Annnnd for festival suggestions, I was thinking maybe tapping back into the HM roots and doing an old school festival? Since it's fall maybe we could do some of the HM64 events? Like the cool Harvest Festival where they hide the coin in the cake and the one that gets it is the Harvest King until the next Harvest Festival. And there's DANCING! YAY DANCIN'! Maybe we could even do the Egg festival, hide some eggs in the rp and whoever finds the most and reports them in on time wins a prize? I dunno, I just really, really, really love the HM64 festivals! xD There can also be a Moon-viewing festival that can be public or private! I was thinking maybe there can be a picnic type deal where people can come and view the moon together eat and drink and just have fun and if people want privacy they can always just make another thread somewhere!

Thaaaaaaat's all I got for now, if I come up with anything else I'll spam it here!

I'll discuss with Whitepay and Kirika about making the RPG visible again. Just hope something like that will help make people join.

As far as the older posts, there is an option that removes them if they are so many days old. Will it delete them? I have no clue till I push the buttom. Should I go for 30 days old? 60 days old? It won't erase any of the sticky topics, which is good of course.

Your suggestions of festivals will be added to discussion. Thank you for your input.

EDIT: It will delete the posts, not move them to the spam area like I thought. Not sure if this matters to anyone or not. Really don't want to have to go through each thread and move them one by one to the spam area.

All the posts that were over a year old (activity wise) have been moved into the archives. So I hope the board looks a little bit cleaner. ^^

As for festival, I tend to love any hm video game themed ones like BtN Tomato Wars, The Goddess Festival, and New Years Festivals are fun. <3

I always liked the egg festival. The music festival is good too. Just having everyone get together for a concert. Since it's fall, the harvest festival is usually a good choice since it's the hm version of thanksgiving.

Ah, the giant pot...that one was okay, still nothing like the HM64 Harvest Festival. I just love the music, dancing and all the eating. The giant pot was...meh at best for me. But I'm biased as I consider HM64 to be the best HM to date. Maybe there's a way we could combine the two to create a happy medium? It's always nice to have your cake and eat it too, literally. The HM64 version was like Thanksgiving, everyone brought food to eat...it was just a big pot luck if anything.

Maybe we could just have the big hot pot, throw in some dancin' and maybe the coin in the cake thing? Or...something?

I just noticed there aren't alot of active males on the board and the HM64 Harvest Festival had the coin in the cake and whoever got it was the king...and it seems like there's only two active males...Irbe's character and my own. Maybe it'd be better to do that for the next year when we have more players and hopefully more males?

I say pot luck, music, drinkin' & dancin' for the festival! <3

I was thinking of the 64 Harvest Festival actually.

But yeah, right now we don't have enough guys for a really coin cake.

'Tis a shame there aren't more active males. I'll be bringing another male character on sometime in the future but it's just not the same. But hopefully more people will join the rp! <3 I really hope this place gets super active again, I plan on making this my main site to hang around on.

For the coin cake thing could we hold two versions of it one being for guys and one for girls? Since the guys are the H. King until the next year could the girls be the H. Goddess until the next year? (Or would that be considered the Goddess Festival?) O_o

As for this place getting active, I’d love it!!! ^.^

xD

In the HM64 version, girl's were voted to be the Harvest Goddess for the year at the Flower Festival in the Spring. It's a bit similar, buuuuut not. There was voting for a few days and then at the festival the chosen girl was dressed up in the Goddess outfit escorted out by the other girls who gave everyone flowers and the Harvest King from the year prior danced with the Goddess...everyone else got to dance, and people sold stuff. It was a nifty little festival. But yeah, they held those two things separately.

We could always make an npc this year's King or something. I dunno.

Heck ya! Activity for the win! <3
